The relationship with Anheuser-Busch has been a Roberson Family tradition for over 75 years, beginning as the exclusive bottling agent for Anheuser-Busch. The Roberson Family moved to the Volusia, Florida area in 1959, and in 1960 they acquired distribution territories in Flagler, Putnam, and Volusia counties to create Brown Knotts Distributing. In 1967, Brown Knotts found a new home in Port Orange and was renamed Daytona Budweiser Incorporated.

Fueled by the rapid growth of the area (specifically the West Volusia portion of the distribution territory), the company decided to open a satellite office in Lake Helen, FL. This location was responsible for product distribution in West Volusia and Putnam counties, as well as areas in New Smyrna and Edgewater.

Robbie Roberson began his career with the family business in the warehouse. After serving two years in the United States Coast Guard, Robbie returned to Daytona Budweiser to apprentice in several areas including accounting, sales, and delivery.

In 1994 Ms. Helene Roberson, one of the first female owners of a distribution operation (and a pioneer in the field), decided to split the Lake Helen satellite office and corresponding territories from the Port Orange headquarters. The Lake Helen operation was sold to Robbie Roberson and renamed Quality Brands Incorporated. In the spring of the following year, Ms. Roberson retired and sold the Daytona Budweiser operation to Anheuser-Busch.

In November of 2000, Quality Brands relocated to a pristine facility on International Speedway Boulevard in DeLand. Under the leadership of Robbie Roberson and his wife Joanne, Quality Brands has continued the 43-year, customer-driven presence of the Roberson family in the West Volusia county area.
